This area contains any information I have gained throughout my time hacking ROMS, savestates, other game saves and pretty much anything else that can be opened in a hex editor (which is pretty much anything!).
All the information is easy to implement using your favourite hex editor (I use HXD) and will allow changes such as:
- Varying the amount of Lives, Health, Ammo, Items, etc
- Changing items in inventory
- Changing characters
- Stopping timers
And a whole host of other goodies.
Changes like the above are pretty straight forward but don't be fooled, there is also information here for more complicated changes such as ones that alter the actual game code to change the way its logic works.
Of course it should really go without saying that you should backup your files before trying out any of the changes on here because there is a slight chance that you'll permanently screw up your game and end up crying lots and lots afterwards. If this is what you want then feel free not to backup!
